BASICS // WHAT IT DOES

Formats, accuracy, and how it works

We auto-detect the layout and extract date, description, amount, and balance with high accuracy across thousands of bank formats. You review the result before importing, so you are always in control.

In: PDF, CSV, Excel (XLSX), OFX, QFX, QBO, QIF, MT940, and scanned images. Out: CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, QBO, QIF, and JSON. Any input to any output, in either direction, so you never hunt for a single-purpose tool again.

Yes. BankConvert reads scanned statements and image-based PDFs, not just digital ones, and pulls every transaction into a clean, structured export ready for your books.

Yes. MT940 is supported as an input, and you can convert it to CSV, Excel, or another format. You can also convert other formats into clean output for your accounting workflow.

SECURITY // YOUR FILES

Where your files go, and whether it is safe

Yes. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, processed for conversion, then discarded. We never store, sell, or share your statements or financial data. Read the full posture on the security page.

No. Your statement is processed only to convert it and is then discarded. We never keep, sell, share, or train models on your financial data. Your data is not the product.

BANKS // ACCOUNTING TOOLS

Banks supported and clean imports

Every major bank, including Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, US Bank, PNC, Truist, TD, HSBC, Barclays, and Amex, plus many more, and every common format in and out: PDF, CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, QBO, QIF, MT940, and scanned images to CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, QBO, QIF, or JSON.

Yes. Exports are formatted to import directly into QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Xero, and Excel. We produce the exact file type each one expects, for example QBO and OFX web-connect files.

Yes. On Pro and above you can bulk upload statements across multiple banks and months in one workflow, instead of one painful file at a time. Each transaction is categorized as it is extracted.

PLANS // THE FINE PRINT

Pricing, cancellation, and scope

BankConvert is a professional tool for accountants, bookkeepers, and finance teams. Paid-only keeps it fast, private, and free of the volume abuse that plagues free converters. Your data is not the product, and it is never stored or sold. Plans start at $20 a month.

Yes. Plans are month to month, cancel anytime, no contracts. You can move up or down as your volume changes, and changes apply on a going-forward basis.

No. BankConvert is a data-conversion tool, not an accounting or advisory service. Always review the output before importing into your books.
